Recently, after having intercourse with my boyfriend, I experienced a burning sensation. Could you please explain what might cause a burning sensation in women after intercourse?

Burning pain after intercourse may be caused by an underlying medical condition or inflammation. If the cause is vaginitis, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial medications can be used for treatment; however, treatment must be continued for at least one month to effectively reduce the risk of recurrence. Maintain good personal hygiene: avoid sexual intercourse during treatment, change and wash undergarments daily, and regularly disinfect them.
