Introduction
Osteitis condensans ilii can be treated through bed rest, medication, massage, and other therapeutic approaches. During the acute inflammatory phase, patients should remain on bed rest and avoid weight-bearing activities. Oral anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling, and analgesic medications may be used initially, such as non-steroidal drugs including nimesulide, ibuprofen, or sodium diclofenac. Physical therapy may also be used as an adjunctive treatment.

Pelvic osteitis condensans can be treated through bed rest, medication, massage, and other therapeutic methods.

During the acute inflammatory phase, bed rest is essential. Weight-bearing activities should be avoided, and the affected area must be kept warm to prevent aggravation of inflammation.

Oral anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling, and analgesic medications may be used initially. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as nimesulide, ibuprofen, or sodium diclofenac are commonly prescribed. If symptoms do not significantly improve with oral treatment, local trigger point injections or short-term glucocorticoid injections may be considered.

In addition to the above treatments, physical therapies such as acupuncture, massage, herbal steam therapy, cupping, electrothermal therapy, and heat application can serve as effective adjuncts. Traditional Chinese patent medicines or herbal decoctions also show good efficacy in relieving and treating this condition. However, prior to use, a qualified traditional Chinese medicine practitioner should conduct a syndrome differentiation diagnosis and prescribe appropriate remedies for optimal results.

After symptom relief, patients should perform appropriate functional exercises under medical guidance to achieve better recovery. Adequate rest should be maintained in daily life, avoiding overexertion and ensuring sufficient sleep.
