The benefits of kombucha
Kombucha is a relatively rare food, and some people may not fully understand its benefits. So, what are the health effects of kombucha?
Health Benefits of Kombucha
Kombucha is generally believed to lubricate the intestines, turn gray hair black, aid in weight loss, strengthen the body, enhance the functions of the brain, stomach, liver, and kidneys, improve eyesight, lower blood pressure, promote better sleep, assist in dissolving digestive stones, and soften arteries. It may help treat diabetes, hypertension, hypotension, arteriosclerosis, coronary heart disease, constipation, hemorrhoids, acne, obesity, extreme thinness, gray hair, alopecia areata, morning sickness during pregnancy, anemia, neuralgia, riboflavin deficiency, gallstones, and may also help prevent gallstones, kidney stones, motion sickness, prostatitis, and cancer.

Kombucha is made by brewing black tea, sugar, and water. Its cultivation method is as follows: Culture of the starter liquid: First, add a small amount of black tea and sugar (or rock sugar) into boiling water to make a diluted sweet tea solution. Boil for a short while to sterilize. Then pour it into a sterilized glass container and cool to around 35°C. Add a piece of kombucha SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast) about the size of a fingertip, and cover the mouth of the cup with clean gauze.

After three or four days, greenish filaments will grow at the bottom of the cup, and a jelly-like biofilm resembling a jellyfish will form on the liquid surface. The liquid will become sour, tasting similar to Chinese bayberry (yamamomo) juice—this is now the starter liquid. We hope this answer has been helpful to you. Wishing you good health and happiness.
