Can children with autism attend regular primary schools?

Whether children with autism can attend regular elementary schools depends on the severity of their condition. Generally, children with mild autism are not significantly affected and may be able to attend mainstream schools. However, most children with autism usually attend special education schools that provide targeted rehabilitation training and therapeutic interventions tailored to their needs.
