Introduction
"Duǒyǎnzi" refers to the anus. Anal itching may result from poor anal hygiene, leading to bacterial buildup that irritates the local skin. It could also be caused by using substandard hygiene products or wearing clothes made of synthetic fibers, resulting in skin allergies. Additionally, wearing non-breathable clothing can cause moisture and sweat to accumulate around the anus without timely cleaning, leading to perianal eczema.

In clinical terms, "ding yanshi" refers to the anus. Itching in the anal area may be caused by physiological factors or pathological factors, such as allergies or perianal eczema.

I. Physiological Factors

Excessive sweating, infrequent bathing, and not regularly changing or washing underwear may lead to bacterial buildup around the anus, irritating the local skin and causing itching.

II. Pathological Factors

1. Allergies

Using substandard hygiene products or wearing synthetic fiber clothing may irritate the skin around the anus, leading to allergic reactions.

2. Perianal Eczema

Poor personal hygiene or wearing non-breathable clothing may keep the anal skin moist and sweaty without timely cleaning, which can trigger perianal eczema.

In addition, conditions such as hemorrhoids may also cause anal itching. It is recommended to seek medical attention promptly for an accurate diagnosis.
