Introduction
Children over 3 years old can generally use electric mosquito repellent liquid. The main ingredient of electric mosquito repellent liquid is pyrethroid, combined with kerosene, odor-removing solvent oil, and other substances, which provides mosquito-repelling and mosquito-killing effects. However, pyrethroids are a type of pesticide containing toxic components. The vapor released from the liquid during use poses minor health risks to humans, so its use is not recommended for pregnant women and infants.

Electric mosquito repellent liquid mainly contains pyrethroid, along with kerosene, odor-removing solvents, and other ingredients. It works to repel and kill mosquitoes. However, pyrethroid is a type of pesticide that contains toxic components. The vapor released from the liquid during use poses minor health risks to humans, so its use is not recommended for pregnant women or infants. Use during pregnancy may affect fetal development and increase the risk of birth defects, while use in infants may adversely affect the central nervous and respiratory systems, potentially causing irritability, sneezing, drowsiness, and other adverse reactions. As children grow older, their organs and bodily systems gradually mature; therefore, children over 3 years old may use electric mosquito repellent liquids containing less than 30% DEET (N,N-Diethyl-meta-toluamide).

For younger infants, it is recommended to choose safer mosquito control methods such as mosquito-killing lamps or mosquito nets, and the use of chemical repellents is not advised. When caring for infants in daily life, caregivers should exercise patience and love, and ensure proper body warmth.
