Introduction
Costochondritis is caused by inflammatory stimulation, and should be treated with ibuprofen sustained-release capsules, naproxen tablets, or acetaminophen tablets as directed by a physician. Pleuritis, associated with pleural effusion and resulting in pleural adhesion and thickening, can be improved with prednisolone acetate tablets. Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease results from narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries, leading to myocardial ischemia and hypoxia, and is treated with aspirin tablets.

Pain in the internal organs or lungs upon tapping the back may be caused by conditions such as costochondritis, pleurisy, or coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. It is recommended to seek treatment targeting the underlying cause.

1. Costochondritis

Costochondritis occurs when inflammatory reactions affect the cartilage at the junction of the sternum and ribs, often due to viral infections or injuries to joints and ligaments. Since rib cartilage is located in the front of the chest, inflammation can trigger pain there. As directed by a physician, medications such as ibuprofen sustained-release capsules, naproxen tablets, or acetaminophen tablets may be taken to help reduce inflammation and relieve pain.

2. Pleurisy

Pleurisy may develop due to pathogen infection of the pleura or pre-existing inflammatory conditions affecting pleural tissue. It can be triggered by pleural effusion or thickening and adhesion of the pleural cavity. It is recommended to take corticosteroid medications under medical supervision. Commonly used drugs include prednisolone acetate tablets, methylprednisolone tablets, and dexamethasone tablets, which help suppress immune responses and improve symptoms.

3. Coronary Atherosclerotic Heart Disease

Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease may result from conditions such as arterial hardening, thromboembolism, or vasospasm in the coronary arteries, leading to narrowing or blockage of blood vessels. This obstructs blood flow, depriving downstream myocardial tissue of adequate perfusion, resulting in myocardial ischemia and hypoxia. As prescribed by a doctor, antiplatelet agents such as aspirin tablets, clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate tablets, or ticagrelor tablets are recommended to reduce platelet aggregation, prevent further worsening of vascular occlusion, and alleviate symptoms.

In addition, similar symptoms may also occur in conditions such as myocardial infarction. A thorough medical evaluation at a hospital is necessary to determine the exact cause and receive appropriate treatment.
