Introduction
As neck tumors grow larger, they may compress the jugular vein and major blood vessels, obstructing venous return and ultimately leading to blood congestion. They can also compress the recurrent laryngeal nerve, causing hoarseness and difficulty swallowing, which may eventually endanger the patient's life. Neck tumors include both primary neck tumors and metastatic neck tumors; primary neck tumors include cancers such as hypopharyngeal cancer and laryngeal cancer.

As neck tumors grow larger, they may cause breathing difficulties, hoarseness, and trouble swallowing.

  1. Breathing difficulties

When a tumor develops in the neck, as the condition progresses, it may compress veins and major blood vessels, potentially leading to breathing difficulties.

  2. Hoarseness

Enlarging neck tumors can obstruct blood return, and in severe cases cause blood congestion, possibly resulting in symptoms such as hoarseness.

  3. Difficulty swallowing

Neck tumors include both primary neck tumors and metastatic neck tumors. Primary neck tumors include cancers such as hypopharyngeal cancer and laryngeal cancer. Metastatic neck tumors often involve numerous lymphoid tissues; tumors originating in the head and neck regions can spread via lymphatic channels to cervical lymph nodes, easily causing difficulty swallowing.

In addition, these conditions may also lead to life-threatening situations. To avoid harm to the body, once a neck tumor is detected, it is essential to seek prompt medical attention at a hospital.
