At this stage, the body's immune system is usually still weak, so light physical activity is recommended to promote metabolism and aid in faster recovery. However, overly intense or high-intensity exercise should be avoided to prevent placing excessive strain on the body, which could negatively affect the recovery process.

Recovery after testing positive for COVID-19 generally refers to the convalescent phase following a confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection. Light exercise can usually be resumed around two weeks post-recovery, although strenuous activities should be avoided to prevent adverse effects on recovery.
