Introduction
The Rh blood group is one of the human blood type systems and is determined by the Rh factor. The Rh factor is a protein; if this protein is present in a person's blood, they are referred to as Rh-positive, whereas if it is absent, they are called Rh-negative. The clinical significance of the Rh blood type mainly includes the potential for transfusion reactions or transplant rejection, the risk of hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn, and susceptibility to certain diseases.

Rhesus (Rh) blood group has important clinical implications, primarily in relation to transfusion reactions or transplant rejection, hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn, and susceptibility to certain diseases.

1. Transfusion Reactions or Transplant Rejection

When individuals with different Rh blood types receive blood transfusions or organ transplants, immune reactions may occur, leading to transfusion reactions or transplant rejection. Therefore, Rh blood typing must be performed prior to transfusion or transplantation to avoid unnecessary risks.

2. Hemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn
