Introduction
Varicose veins, especially those in the lower limbs, can generally be treated with minimally invasive surgery such as radiofrequency ablation. After entering the operating room, the patient is placed in a supine position. The anesthesiologist administers anesthesia while the surgeon performs routine disinfection and draping of the patient. Once the anesthesia takes effect, the surgeon makes a small incision on the lateral aspect of the patient's knee joint and inserts a trocar at the incision site.

Varicose veins, especially those in the lower limbs, can generally be treated with minimally invasive procedures such as radiofrequency ablation. The procedure should be performed at a正规 hospital, and the specific steps are as follows:

1. After entering the operating room, the patient lies in a supine position. The anesthesiologist administers anesthesia, while the surgeon performs routine disinfection and draping.

2. Once the anesthesia takes effect, the surgeon makes a small incision on the outer side of the patient's knee joint and inserts a trocar needle at the incision site.

3. A catheter is inserted through the trocar and advanced into the vein. Ultrasound imaging is used to guide the delivery of radiofrequency energy to the enlarged vein.

4. As the catheter is gradually withdrawn, heat emitted from its tip causes the vein to collapse and close off, redirecting blood flow to other healthy veins.

After surgery, patients should actively follow the doctor's instructions and take appropriate postoperative care measures. If discomfort or complications occur at the incision site, medical attention should be sought promptly.
