Introduction
The Dàdūn (LR1) acupoint is not present on both the left and right feet. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, the Dàdūn point is located at the starting point of the Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin, typically at the center of the sole. However, it exists only on one side—either the left foot or the right foot. Therefore, the Dàdūn point is separate on the left and right feet, corresponding respectively to the Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin on the left and right sides.

The Dadun acupoint is not present on both the left and right feet. According to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory, the Dadun point is located at the starting point of the Kidney Meridian of the Foot-Shaoyin, typically in the central area of the sole. However, it exists on only one side—either the left foot or the right foot. Therefore, the Dadun point is separate for the left and right feet, corresponding respectively to the Kidney Meridian of the Foot-Shaoyin on each side.

The Dadun acupoint (also known as Taichong) is a specific acupuncture point in TCM meridian theory, located on the Kidney Meridian of the Foot-Shaoyin. It is the first point on this meridian and is commonly used in acupuncture and massage therapy. The Dadun point is situated on the sole of the foot, approximately three cun above the heel.

In clinical TCM practice, whether to stimulate the Dadun point on the left or right foot is determined based on the patient's specific condition and therapeutic needs. Note that such procedures should be performed under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.
