Introduction
It is recommended to wait 20–40 days after a uterine evacuation procedure before resuming sexual intercourse. If there is no pelvic infection or significant vaginal bleeding or other discomfort following the procedure, sexual activity may be resumed 15–20 days after surgery. However, if symptoms such as lower abdominal pain or persistent vaginal bleeding occur after the procedure, prompt medical treatment is necessary. In such cases, sexual intercourse should generally be avoided until 30–40 days after treatment, when the body has fully recovered.

Dilation and curettage is the most common method used for early medical abortion. This procedure effectively removes contents from the uterine cavity. 2. 30–40 days

In such cases, prompt treatment following medical advice is necessary. It is recommended to wait 30 to 40 days after treatment, ensuring full physical recovery, before resuming sexual intercourse.
After a D&C, maintaining personal hygiene and keeping warm are essential. Avoid exposure to cold air or cold drafts, as this may impair recovery.
