Introduction
Under normal circumstances, blood pressure in the morning is higher than in the evening. Blood pressure gradually rises after waking up, and typically reaches its daily peak between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. In contrast, blood pressure gradually decreases in the evening and usually reaches its lowest level during sleep. To maintain normal blood pressure in daily life, it's important to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Under normal circumstances, blood pressure in the morning is higher than in the evening.

Generally, blood pressure begins to rise gradually upon waking in the morning, reaching its peak between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. In contrast, blood pressure gradually decreases in the evening and typically reaches its lowest level during sleep. Therefore, morning blood pressure tends to be higher. However, whether in the morning or evening, blood pressure should remain within a normal range—systolic pressure should not exceed 140 mmHg, and diastolic pressure should not exceed 90 mmHg. When these thresholds are exceeded, it indicates hypertension. Thus, even if morning blood pressure is relatively high, it should still fluctuate within the normal range and not exceed normal limits.

To maintain normal blood pressure in daily life, it's important to adopt a healthy lifestyle: avoid excessive stress, anxiety, excitement, or emotional agitation; refrain from staying up late; ensure adequate rest; reduce intake of fats and salt; increase consumption of folic acid and potassium; engage in regular outdoor exercise; maintain a healthy weight; and eat more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins to strengthen the body's resistance.
