Introduction
Influenza vaccine refers to the vaccine against influenza. If Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) has been fully recovered, influenza vaccination can be administered at that time. However, if the patient is currently in the acute phase of the disease, vaccination should not be given. HSP is a type of hypersensitivity reaction. Once the condition is under control following effective treatment, influenza vaccination may be considered.

Influenza vaccine refers to the vaccine against seasonal influenza. If Henoch-Schönlein purpura (allergic purpura) has been fully cured, it is acceptable to receive the influenza vaccine. However, if the patient is currently in the acute phase of the disease, vaccination should be avoided. The details are as follows:

1. Can receive the vaccine

Allergic purpura is a type of hypersensitivity disorder primarily triggered by allergens. Once exposed to such allergens, patients may develop an abnormal immune reaction that increases vascular permeability, leading to hemorrhagic inflammation in areas such as the skin and gastrointestinal tract. Since this condition is self-limiting, if the disease has been effectively treated and is under control, receiving the influenza vaccine is safe and will not negatively affect health.

2. Should not receive the vaccine

The influenza vaccine works by stimulating the body's immune system to produce specific antibodies. Allergic purpura tends to relapse frequently. If the patient is currently experiencing an active episode or has only recently recovered with heightened bodily sensitivity, receiving the influenza vaccine may trigger a recurrence of the disease. Therefore, vaccination is not recommended at such times.

It is advisable to consult a physician before vaccination to evaluate your current health status. If the body has just recovered, it is recommended to postpone vaccination.
