Introduction
The normal blood glucose level after lunch should be below 6.7–9.4 mmol/L. Normal fasting blood glucose levels range from 3.9 to 6.1 mmol/L. One hour after eating lunch, the normal blood glucose level should be between 6.7 and 9.4 mmol/L; two hours after the meal, blood glucose should be less than or equal to 7.9 mmol/L; and by three hours, it should have returned to normal.

Under normal circumstances, the blood glucose level after lunch should be below 6.7–9.4 mmol/L. The detailed analysis is as follows:

Fasting blood glucose should normally range between 3.9 and 6.1 mmol/L. One hour after lunch, blood glucose should remain within 6.7–9.4 mmol/L; two hours after the meal, it should be less than or equal to 7.9 mmol/L; and by three hours post-meal, it should have returned to baseline levels. If blood glucose remains between 7.9 and 10.1 mmol/L, this indicates abnormal blood sugar levels. When blood glucose is higher than or equal to 11.1 mmol/L, diabetes should be suspected.
