Introduction
Nocturnal ejaculation usually refers to spermatorrhea. Spermatorrhea may be caused by incorrect sleeping posture, urethritis, or balanitis, and can be improved through general treatments or medication. If the sleeping posture is improper at night, pressure on the seminal vesicle area may lead to ejaculation. In the absence of other accompanying symptoms, this is considered normal and does not require special treatment.

Ejaculation during sleep usually refers to nocturnal emission. Nocturnal emissions may be caused by incorrect sleeping posture, urethritis, balanitis, or other reasons, and can be improved through general management, medication, and other methods. A detailed analysis is as follows:

1. Incorrect sleeping posture

If the sleeping posture is incorrect at night, pressure on the seminal vesicle area may lead to ejaculation. If no other symptoms are present, this is considered a normal phenomenon and does not require special treatment. Maintaining a proper sleeping position is recommended.

2. Urethritis

Urethritis causes inflammation of the urethral opening and surrounding tissues, which may affect semen quality and quantity, potentially leading to nocturnal emission. Patients may take medications such as azithromycin dispersible tablets or amoxicillin capsules under medical guidance.

3. Balanitis

Balanitis may stimulate nerve endings in the glans penis, affecting a man's control over ejaculation, resulting in spontaneous ejaculation without sexual intercourse. Patients may use antibiotic preparations such as erythromycin ointment or chlortetracycline ointment as directed by a physician to improve local symptoms.

In addition to the above causes, nocturnal emissions may also result from prostatitis, genital herpes, seminal vesiculitis, or other conditions. If physical discomfort occurs, it is recommended to promptly visit a hospital for appropriate examinations and receive treatment under the guidance of a qualified physician.
