Introduction
For a head wound, pressure can be applied to stop bleeding and alleviate symptoms. If the head is accidentally injured, it is recommended to take appropriate treatment measures depending on the depth of the wound. For more severe wounds, prompt medical attention is advised, and hemostasis should be performed under the guidance of a healthcare professional. During recovery, keep the affected area clean to prevent infection.

Generally, if the head is accidentally injured and bleeding occurs, pressure application is usually an effective method to stop the bleeding and alleviate symptoms. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Have the patient lie down in a comfortable position, elevate the injured area, and support it properly.

2. Clean the wound with normal saline, then apply pressure using a clean towel or gauze.

3. After applying pressure for 10 minutes, cover the wound with a sterile dressing.

4. Secure the dressing with a bandage, making sure the wound is properly wrapped. Avoid wrapping the bandage too tightly to prevent impaired blood circulation.

If bleeding persists despite these measures, it is advisable to seek prompt medical attention at a hospital. Under a doctor's guidance, wound debridement and suturing may be necessary to prevent delayed healing.
