Introduction
Minimally invasive surgery for inguinal hernia refers to laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, a procedure characterized by small incisions, less pain, and rapid recovery. If this surgery is required, it is recommended to undergo the procedure under the guidance of a qualified physician to avoid potential harm to the body. After surgery, adequate rest is important, and consumption of spicy or irritating foods should be avoided to prevent interference with wound healing.

Generally, minimally invasive surgery for inguinal hernia refers to laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. This procedure is widely used in clinical practice due to its small incisions, minimal pain, and rapid recovery. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Position the patient supine, administer general anesthesia, perform routine disinfection of the surgical site, and drape with sterile towels.

2. Insert a Veress needle below the umbilicus, establish pneumoperitoneum at a set pressure, and connect the laparoscopic equipment.

3. After entering the abdominal cavity, make an incision in the peritoneum approximately 2–3 cm above the internal ring.

4. Use the laparoscope to dissect the peritoneal flaps superiorly and inferiorly, thereby accessing the preperitoneal space.

5. Reduce the indirect hernia sac from the inguinal canal back into the internal ring, and dissect the vas deferens down to 6 cm below the internal ring.

6. Place a mesh prosthesis into the preperitoneal space and secure it with sutures to prevent displacement.

7. Remove the laparoscopic instruments, release the pneumoperitoneum, close the abdominal incisions with sutures, and dress the wounds with sterile dressings.

If this surgery is required, it is recommended to visit a正规 hospital and undergo the procedure under the guidance of a qualified physician to avoid harm to the body. After surgery, ensure adequate rest and avoid spicy or irritating foods to promote proper wound healing.
