Introduction
In general, hysterosalpingography is used to evaluate whether the fallopian tubes are patent. The specific procedure is as follows:
1. Take the patient's medical history and clarify the indications and contraindications.
2. Administer antispasmodic medication to the patient, and select an appropriate cannulation method and contrast agent.
3. Position the patient in the lithotomy position and obtain a plain pelvic radiograph.
4. Insert a vaginal speculum, and disinfect the cervix and vaginal surfaces.
Under normal circumstances, hysterosalpingography (HSG) is used to evaluate whether the fallopian tubes are patent. The specific procedure is as follows:
1. Take a patient history and confirm indications and contraindications.
2. Administer antispasmodic medication to the patient, and select an appropriate cannulation method and contrast agent.
3. Position the patient in the lithotomy position and obtain a baseline pelvic radiograph.
4. Insert a vaginal speculum and disinfect the cervix and vaginal surfaces.
5. Insert the catheter into the uterine cavity using the selected cannulation technique.
6. Slowly inject the selected contrast agent through the catheter into the uterine cavity.
7. Use injection pressure to allow the contrast medium to flow from the uterine cavity into both fallopian tubes.
8. Obtain X-ray images during the filling phase and delayed phase of the fallopian tubes.
9. After imaging, clean the patient's external genitalia and thighs, and assist her in dressing.
Possible adverse reactions of hysterosalpingography include abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. Physicians will manage these according to individual circumstances. It is recommended that this procedure be performed at a正规 medical facility.
