HPV Self-Test Kit Instructions for Use
Generally, HPV self-testing kits are primarily used to detect whether the body is infected with the HPV virus, featuring simple operation and high accuracy. The specific steps for use are as follows:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly to avoid affecting the test results.
2. Open the packaging of the HPV self-test kit and remove the sampling brush.
3. Gently insert the sampling brush into the vagina and rotate it to collect exfoliated cells from the upper part of the vaginal canal.
4. After successfully obtaining a sufficient sample, repeatedly smear the brush tip across the testing card.
5. Allow the testing card to air-dry, place it into the aluminum foil bag, and mail it to a designated laboratory for analysis.
Results are typically received within 3 to 5 days after returning the sample. Before using an HPV self-test kit, it is recommended to carefully read the instruction manual. If you have any questions, consult a healthcare professional at a qualified medical institution promptly.
