Introduction
HPV-negative individuals generally do not need to be tested for E6/E7. Specifically, an HPV-negative result usually indicates the absence of human papillomavirus infection. Since E6 and E7 are oncogenes, testing for them is typically unnecessary when HPV is negative. Moreover, E6 and E7 are the primary pathogenic factors responsible for cervical cancer.

Generally, E6/E7 testing is not necessary for individuals who are HPV-negative. The specific analysis is as follows:

An HPV-negative result usually indicates that there is no current human papillomavirus (HPV) infection in the body. Since E6 and E7 are oncogenes associated with cancer development, testing for E6/E7 is generally not required when HPV test results are negative. However, E6 and E7 are key pathogenic factors in cervical cancer. Therefore, for patients diagnosed with cervical cancer, E6/E7 presence can be detected through tissue biopsy to examine whether these genes exist in cervical cells. For individuals who are HPV-negative and have not received the HPV vaccine, it is recommended to visit a qualified medical institution and receive the HPV vaccine based on individual circumstances, thereby preventing cervical cancer caused by HPV infection. Additionally, protective measures should be taken during sexual activity, and any unusual symptoms should prompt immediate medical consultation.

It is advisable to undergo regular full-body health checkups. If any infections are detected, timely treatment should be initiated to prevent disease progression and ensure effective recovery.
