Introduction
Below usually refers to the genital area. Post-coital bleeding — vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse — may be caused by ovulation, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, or other reasons, and can be improved through general management or medication. Besides these causes, it could also result from endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, or similar conditions.

The term "below" usually refers to the genital area. Bleeding from the genitals after sexual intercourse may be caused by ovulation, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, or other reasons. This can be improved through general management, medication, and other methods. A detailed analysis is as follows:

1. Cervical ectropion

Cervical ectropion is a relatively common physiological phenomenon. Localized protrusion may cause vaginal bleeding. If symptoms are mild, special treatment is usually not required; maintaining good hygiene of the external genital area and dietary adjustments may help improve the condition.

2. Cervicitis

Cervicitis is an infectious condition affecting the cervical mucosa. Due to congestion and edema of the cervical mucosa, it leads to increased vaginal discharge and irregular vaginal bleeding. Under medical guidance, patients may use medications such as doxycycline hydrochloride tablets or ceftriaxone sodium for injection to treat the condition.

3. Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)

PID is a pelvic condition caused by bacterial infection. Inflammation and edema of the pelvic organs due to infection increase vascular permeability in tissues, resulting in symptoms such as bleeding and pain. Under medical supervision, patients may use cefixime dispersible tablets or metronidazole suppositories to alleviate symptoms.

In addition to the above causes, abnormal bleeding may also result from endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, or other conditions. If gynecological disorders occur, prompt medical evaluation and treatment are recommended to prevent worsening symptoms or complications.
