Introduction
Watery diarrhea refers to the condition of passing loose, watery stools. Low-grade fever and watery diarrhea in pregnant women may result from physiological factors or pathological causes such as viral flu or acute gastroenteritis. If a pregnant woman consumes excessive raw or cold foods in daily life, or fails to stay adequately warm, it may lead to chilling of the body and disrupt normal gastrointestinal motility.

Watery stool refers to watery diarrhea. Low-grade fever means mild fever. Mild fever and watery diarrhea in pregnant women may be caused by physiological factors or pathological factors, such as viral influenza, acute gastroenteritis, etc. The specific analysis is as follows:

I. Physiological Factors

If a pregnant woman consumes excessive raw or cold foods in daily life, or fails to keep warm adequately, her body may become chilled, affecting the normal peristaltic function of the gastrointestinal tract, thus leading to symptoms such as mild fever and watery diarrhea. If symptoms are mild, they can be relieved through proper rest and drinking warm water.

II. Pathological Factors

1. Viral Influenza

Viral influenza may be triggered by infections with influenza virus, rhinovirus, Coxsackie virus, etc. When a pregnant woman's upper respiratory tract is invaded by viruses, it may stimulate an immune response in the body, resulting in the aforementioned symptoms. Medications such as ceftriaxone sodium for injection or azithromycin dry suspension may be used under medical guidance.

2. Acute Gastroenteritis

Acute gastroenteritis may result from bacterial or parasitic infections. Inflammation factors may irritate the gastrointestinal mucosa in pregnant women, causing symptoms such as abdominal pain and bloating, often accompanied by low-grade fever. Pregnant women may take medications such as loperamide hydrochloride capsules or tetracycline tablets as directed by a physician.

In addition, mild fever and watery diarrhea in pregnant women could also be caused by conditions such as acute bacterial dysentery, colitis, or Crohn’s disease. It is recommended that pregnant women seek timely medical attention when experiencing discomfort.
