Introduction
Fever in children can be alleviated by massaging the Tianmen acupoint. This procedure may help relieve symptoms of fever. If massage is desired, it is recommended to visit a正规 hospital and perform the treatment under the guidance of a qualified physician. However, it should be noted that the effectiveness of massage is limited. If symptoms do not improve, timely medical consultation is advised, along with other appropriate treatments.

Generally, fever reduction refers to alleviating fever. In children, fever symptoms can be relieved by massaging the Tianmen acupoint. The specific procedure is as follows:

1. Locating the acupoint: The Tianmen point is typically located on the vertical line extending from the midpoint between the two eyebrows to the hairline.

2. Position the child in a supine position, fully exposing the area to be massaged.

3. Apply an appropriate amount of lubricant to the skin at the Tianmen acupoint to facilitate massage.

4. Using both thumbs alternately, the practitioner performs straight upward pushes from the midpoint of the eyebrows (glabella) along the midline of the forehead to the anterior hairline, continuing up approximately 2 cun (about three finger widths) to the fontanelle point (Xinmen acupoint).

5. The pressure applied during massage should be gentle, continued until the local skin becomes slightly reddened, and repeated 30–50 times.

This technique may help alleviate fever symptoms. If massage is desired, it is recommended to visit a正规 medical institution and perform the procedure under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. However, it should be noted that the effectiveness of massage is limited. If symptoms do not improve, timely medical consultation is advised, along with other appropriate treatments.
