Introduction
In general, hemorrhagic fever can lead to nephrotic syndrome. Hemorrhagic fever is an infectious disease caused by the epidemic hemorrhagic fever virus (hantavirus), and in severe cases, it may result in nephrotic syndrome. Hemorrhagic fever is a significant infectious disease that affects human health, characterized clinically by fever, bleeding, congestion, hypotensive shock, and kidney damage.

In general, hemorrhagic fever can lead to nephrotic syndrome. Hemorrhagic fever is an infectious disease caused by the epidemic hemorrhagic fever virus (hantavirus), and in severe cases, it may result in nephrotic syndrome. The detailed analysis is as follows:

Hemorrhagic fever is a significant infectious disease that affects human health, primarily characterized by fever, bleeding, congestion, hypotensive shock, and kidney damage. The kidneys are commonly affected as a target organ in hemorrhagic fever. Patients may develop acute renal failure, perirenal fat capsule edema, renal hemorrhage, ischemic pallor of the renal cortex, and medullary congestion. Kidney examinations often reveal glomerular congestion, compression and narrowing of renal tubules, and interstitial cell infiltration. Therefore, hemorrhagic fever may lead to nephrotic syndrome.

There is no specific drug treatment for nephrotic syndrome caused by hemorrhagic fever. Management mainly focuses on treating the symptoms. If a patient has gastrointestinal bleeding, hemostatic medications such as omeprazole magnesium enteric-coated tablets or rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated capsules should be administered as prescribed. If respiratory distress syndrome occurs, medications such as dexamethasone acetate tablets or compound betamethasone injection should be used according to medical instructions.

If patients experience any discomfort, they should promptly seek medical attention at a hospital to avoid delays in diagnosis and treatment.
