Under the action of gastric acid, these complexes may form solid masses of varying sizes, potentially causing stomach discomfort, pain, nausea, vomiting, and significantly affecting normal gastrointestinal function.

2. Eggs: Eggs are high in protein. When consumed with persimmons, the protein in eggs can easily combine with the tannic acid in persimmons to form tannic acid-protein complexes, which may lead to gastrointestinal discomfort.

3. Sweet Potatoes: Sweet potatoes contain abundant starch, which can cause excessive gastric acid secretion after consumption. Persimmons themselves contain considerable tannic acid and pectin. When gastric acid meets the tannic acid and pectin in persimmons, coagulation reactions can occur, forming solid masses that may cause stomach pain, bloating, and indigestion.

4. Crabs: Crabs are rich in protein and calcium. The tannic acid in persimmons can combine with the protein in crabs to form complexes that are difficult to absorb, affecting the intestines' normal absorption of nutrients and potentially causing gastrointestinal discomfort such as abdominal pain and diarrhea.

5. Kiwifruit: Kiwifruit is rich in vitamin C, while persimmons contain significant amounts of tannic acid. Consuming large amounts of both simultaneously may cause a reaction between tannic acid and vitamin C, affecting the absorption of vitamin C and reducing the nutritional value of kiwifruit.
