Introduction
Fibromas are more commonly seen in individuals aged 30 to 50 years, and are relatively rare in adolescents and children. As fibromas are benign tumors, they usually grow slowly and generally do not undergo malignant transformation. Fibromas typically occur subcutaneously in the trunk and extremities, but can also develop in large muscles throughout the body. They are most frequently found in the rectus abdominis muscle and the aponeuroses of adjacent muscles in the abdominal wall.

In general, fibromas are mostly not serious and are considered benign tumors. A detailed analysis is as follows:

Fibromas are more commonly seen in individuals aged 30 to 50 years, and relatively rare in adolescents and children. As fibromas are benign tumors, they usually grow slowly and generally do not undergo malignant transformation. Fibromas typically appear subcutaneously on the trunk and limbs, and can also occur in large muscles throughout the body, especially commonly found in the rectus abdominis muscle and the aponeuroses of adjacent muscles.

For fibromas that are small in size, grow slowly, and do not cause significant clinical symptoms, a conservative treatment approach involving regular follow-up and examinations may be adopted. Under a physician's guidance, medications such as methotrexate tablets, vinblastine sulfate for injection, and imatinib mesylate tablets may also be used to control the growth of fibromas and alleviate symptoms. However, the effectiveness of drug therapy is limited, and long-term use may lead to certain side effects. For fibromas that are large in size, grow rapidly, or cause significant clinical symptoms, surgical excision is required.

In daily life, it is important to engage in regular physical exercise to strengthen physical health and boost immunity. Maintaining a positive mindset, balancing work and rest, and avoiding excessive fatigue and stress are also recommended. Additionally, excessive consumption of overly salty, spicy, excessively hot, or cold foods, as well as spoiled foods, should be avoided. It is advisable to consume moderate amounts of cancer-preventive foods and alkaline foods with higher alkalinity.
