Introduction
Huoxiang Zhengqi Shui is a traditional Chinese medicine preparation, mainly composed of ingredients including Atractylodes Lancea, Tangerine Peel, Magnolia Bark, Angelica Dahurica, Poria, Areca Peel, Raw Pinellia, Licorice Extract, Patchouli Oil, Perilla Leaf Oil, and others. It has the functions of relieving exterior syndromes, resolving dampness, regulating qi, and harmonizing the middle jiao. Huoxiang Zhengqi Shui is primarily used for treating colds caused by external contraction of wind-cold accompanied by internal damage from dampness stagnation, or summerheat-dampness.

Generally speaking, fever refers to an elevated body temperature, and Huoxiang Zhengqi Water may not be effective against fever. If discomfort occurs, it is recommended to seek timely medical consultation at a hospital and undergo standardized treatment under a physician's guidance. Detailed analysis is as follows:

Huoxiang Zhengqi Water is a traditional Chinese patent medicine primarily composed of ingredients such as Atractylodis Rhizoma, Tangerine Peel, Magnolia Bark, Angelica Root, Poria, Areca Peel, processed Pinellia, licorice extract, Pogostemon Cablin Oil, and Perilla Leaf Oil. It functions to relieve surface symptoms, resolve dampness, regulate qi, and harmonize the middle jiao (middle part of the body containing the spleen and stomach). Huoxiang Zhengqi Water is mainly indicated for treating colds caused by external contraction of cold pathogens with concurrent internal dampness or summerheat-dampness, as well as associated symptoms such as heavy-headed headache, chest and epigastric fullness and oppression, abdominal distension and pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Therefore, based on its primary functions and indications, Huoxiang Zhengqi Water does not directly target fever.

If fever occurs, physical cooling measures can initially be taken, such as applying a wet towel to the forehead or wiping the palms and soles. Additionally, providing the patient with ample warm water is recommended to replenish lost fluids. If the fever persists or worsens, timely medical attention is advised, and appropriate medications should be used under a physician's guidance.
