Introduction
Patients with fatty liver disease should avoid consuming foods such as chocolate, fried chicken, pork liver, chili peppers, and beer. These foods may increase the burden on the liver, hinder recovery, and even cause liver damage, affect liver function, and trigger other more severe diseases. Therefore, these foods are not recommended for patients with fatty liver disease. In addition, preserved foods such as pickled vegetables and ham should also be avoided as much as possible.

Generally, patients with fatty liver disease do not have strictly forbidden foods, but it is not recommended to eat chocolate, fried chicken, pork liver, chili peppers, beer, and similar items. Detailed explanations are as follows:

1. Chocolate

Chocolate is a high-sugar food. Excessive consumption may lead to surplus sugar being converted into fat and stored in the liver, thereby increasing the liver's metabolic burden and worsening the condition. Therefore, it is not recommended.

2. Fried Chicken

Fried chicken belongs to fried foods. Excessive oil is typically used during preparation, and consuming such foods may increase fat accumulation in the liver, which is detrimental to recovery from fatty liver disease. Thus, it is best to avoid consumption.

3. Pork Liver

Pork liver is also unsuitable for patients with fatty liver disease because it contains high levels of cholesterol. Excessive intake of cholesterol may burden the liver, hinder its excretion function, and negatively affect disease management.

4. Chili Peppers

Chili peppers are considered spicy and stimulating foods. These foods are highly irritating and may easily stimulate the gastrointestinal tract, causing discomfort. Additionally, spicy and stimulating foods may further burden the liver and cause significant liver damage.

5. Beer

Beer is one of the causes of fatty liver disease; therefore, patients with fatty liver disease should avoid consuming it. Moreover, beer contains alcohol, which is metabolized in the liver. Alcohol consumption may impair liver function, worsen fatty liver disease, and even lead to other complications.

In addition, patients with fatty liver disease should also avoid eating pickled vegetables, ham, and similar foods as much as possible. At the same time, they should maintain a regular lifestyle and avoid staying up late.
