Introduction
Under normal circumstances, green vaginal discharge during pregnancy can be treated with medications such as Tinidazole tablets, Clotrimazole vaginal tablets, and Acarbose capsules. This condition may be caused by poor perineal hygiene, hormonal fluctuations, bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis, or gestational diabetes. Pregnant women should pay attention to personal hygiene, keep the external genital area clean, and change underwear frequently.

Generally, green vaginal discharge during pregnancy may be caused by poor perineal hygiene, hormonal fluctuations, bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis, or gestational diabetes. Medications such as Tinidazole Tablets, Clotrimazole Vaginal Tablets, and Acarbose Capsules may be used under medical guidance. Details are as follows:

1. Poor perineal hygiene: Some women may experience fatigue and excessive sleepiness after pregnancy, especially during the first trimester. Failure to change underwear in a timely manner may allow bacterial proliferation in the perineal area, leading to changes in the color of vaginal discharge. Pregnant women should maintain cleanliness of the perineal area, change underwear frequently, and avoid using irritating cleansing agents. Medication is generally not required.

2. Hormonal fluctuations: Hormone levels increase after pregnancy, which may affect the color of vaginal discharge, changing it from transparent or milky white to green. Usually, no drug treatment is required. Pregnant women can alleviate discomfort caused by hormonal fluctuations by maintaining good lifestyle habits, such as balanced diet, adequate sleep, and moderate exercise.

3. Bacterial vaginosis: Caused by an increase in bacteria such as Gardnerella vaginalis or anaerobes, these bacteria proliferate in the vagina and cause an inflammatory response, leading to changes in the color of vaginal discharge. Mild itching of the vulva may also occur. Antibiotic treatment may be carried out under medical supervision using medications such as Tinidazole Tablets, Metronidazole Suppositories, and Clindamycin Hydrochloride Capsules.

4. Vulvovaginal candidiasis: Caused by Candida infection, this yeast proliferates excessively in the vagina, causing inflammation and changes in the color of vaginal discharge, which may appear curd-like. Antifungal and anti-inflammatory treatment should be conducted under medical guidance using medications such as Clotrimazole Vaginal Tablets, Miconazole Clobetasol Cream, and Amoxicillin Capsules.

5. Gestational diabetes: During pregnancy, elevated blood glucose levels may occur due to insufficient insulin secretion or reduced insulin sensitivity. Under conditions of high blood sugar, glycogen content in vaginal epithelial cells increases, disrupting the vagina's natural acid-base balance and promoting bacterial growth, which may lead to vaginitis. Green vaginal discharge and possibly thirst may occur. Blood glucose can be controlled under medical guidance using medications such as Acarbose Capsules, Glimepiride Tablets, and Gliquidone Tablets.

Pregnant women should maintain personal hygiene, keep the vulva clean, change underwear frequently, and avoid scratching the vulva to reduce the risk of bacterial infection.
