Introduction
Consuming large amounts of raw, cold, greasy, or unclean food in a short period, or overeating, can overload the gastrointestinal system, leading to gastrointestinal dysfunction and symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. It is recommended to adjust the diet by choosing light, easily digestible foods such as millet porridge, noodles, etc., and avoiding irritant foods. Prolonged activity in a high-temperature environment can impair the body's ability to dissipate heat, leading to a disruption in body temperature regulation.

Vomiting and diarrhea accompanied by fever may be caused by improper diet, heatstroke, gastroenteric flu, acute gastroenteritis, acute cholecystitis, etc. Appropriate management can be selected according to specific circumstances. If experiencing any physical discomfort, it is recommended to seek medical attention at a hospital promptly and follow medical advice for treatment.

  1. Improper diet: Consuming large amounts of cold, greasy, or unclean food within a short time, or overeating, can increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract and cause gastrointestinal dysfunction, leading to symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. It is recommended to adjust dietary habits and choose bland, easily digestible foods such as millet porridge and noodles in the short term, avoiding intake of irritating foods.

  2. Heatstroke: Prolonged physical activity in high-temperature environments can lead to difficulty dissipating body heat and disrupted body temperature regulation, causing heatstroke. Besides fever, symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. It is advised to move quickly to a cool, well-ventilated area, loosen clothing, and wipe the body with wet towels to lower body temperature. Drinking heat-relieving beverages such as Huoxiang Zhengqi water or mung bean soup in appropriate amounts can help replenish fluids and electrolytes.

  3. Gastroenteric flu: Mainly caused by viral infections, such as Coxsackievirus, often accompanied by bacterial mixed infections. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, fever, headache, nasal congestion, and runny nose. Patients may, under medical guidance, take medications such as Huoxiang Zhengqi soft capsules, ribavirin granules, and paracetamol tablets to alleviate discomfort.

  4. Acute gastroenteritis: This condition is often caused by bacterial, viral, or parasitic infections, or food allergies and drug irritation leading to acute inflammation of the gastrointestinal mucosa. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, which may be accompanied by fever and fatigue. Patients may take medications such as smectite powder, cefixime granules, and compound berberine tablets under a doctor's guidance to alleviate symptoms.

  5. Acute cholecystitis: Acute inflammation of the gallbladder caused by factors such as obstruction of the cystic duct and bacterial infection. Symptoms include pain in the upper right abdomen that may radiate to the right shoulder, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, fever, and jaundice in severe cases. Patients may take medications such as anti-inflammatory and bile-promoting tablets, amoxicillin capsules, and ibuprofen sustained-release capsules under medical guidance to improve symptoms.

In daily life, attention should be paid to food safety and hygiene during meals, and food intake should be appropriately controlled. Maintaining healthy dietary and sleep habits is beneficial for recovery.
