Introduction
In general, there are no absolute dietary restrictions for patients with neurofibromas. However, it is not recommended to consume spicy foods, fatty meats, salted fish, royal jelly, or white spirits. Additionally, patients should also avoid fried foods and pickled foods as much as possible. At the same time, it is important to maintain a light diet, ensure balanced nutrition, engage in appropriate physical activity, and enhance physical fitness in daily life.

Generally, patients with neurofibromas have no absolutely forbidden foods, but it is not recommended to consume chili peppers, fatty meats, salted fish, royal jelly, or white spirits. Detailed explanations are as follows:

1. Chili Peppers

Chili peppers are spicy and irritating foods. Consumption may stimulate inflammatory responses in the body, causing swelling, pain, and discomfort in tissues surrounding the neurofibromas, thus increasing the physical burden on the patient. Therefore, chili peppers are not recommended.

2. Fatty Meats

Fatty meats contain large amounts of saturated fatty acids. Excessive intake can lead to fat accumulation in the body and affect metabolic functions. Metabolic abnormalities may negatively impact the progression of neurofibromas and hinder disease stability; thus, fatty meats should be avoided as much as possible.

3. Salted Fish

Salted fish is a high-salt food and may produce harmful substances such as nitrites during processing. A high-salt diet increases the burden on the kidneys, while nitrites are irritating and may affect normal physiological functions in the body, which is detrimental to the health of patients with neurofibromas.

4. Royal Jelly

Royal jelly contains certain amounts of hormones. The occurrence and progression of neurofibromas may be related to changes in hormone levels. Consuming foods containing hormones may affect the body's hormonal balance, thus negatively influencing the condition; therefore, it is not recommended.

5. White Spirits

White spirits contain high concentrations of alcohol. Alcohol consumption can irritate and damage multiple organs in the body, impairing immune function. A weakened immune system may be unfavorable for controlling the progression of neurofibromas and could even worsen the condition, so alcohol consumption should be avoided.

In addition, patients with neurofibromas should also avoid fried foods and pickled foods as much as possible. At the same time, they should maintain a light diet, ensure balanced nutrition, engage in appropriate physical exercise, and strengthen their physical condition in daily life.
