Adverse Reactions to Measles Vaccine
After receiving the measles vaccine, individuals may experience various adverse reactions; the most common is fever, which typically occurs within 5–12 days following vaccination.

If the fever remains below 38°C, standard physical cooling methods (e.g., tepid sponging) are generally sufficient. However, if the temperature exceeds 38.5°C, medical evaluation and treatment at a hospital are recommended to prevent disease progression. Patients should drink plenty of fluids throughout this period. After the fever subsides, a rash may appear; scratching should be avoided to prevent skin injury or secondary infection.

Dietary precautions include avoiding beef, mutton, and seafood, as these foods may exacerbate adverse reactions. Additionally, maintaining adequate hydration and ensuring sufficient rest support immune function and help mitigate the severity of adverse symptoms.
