What Causes Generalized Body Aches?
Generalized body aches can be attributed to the following three causes:
1. Overexertion: Maintaining the same posture for prolonged periods during work—with minimal physical activity—can lead to muscle stiffness and soreness. Similarly, excessive exercise may also cause muscle soreness, primarily due to lactic acid accumulation in the blood. For example, after hiking or climbing mountains one day, individuals often experience generalized muscle soreness the next day. The duration of this soreness is closely related to the intensity and volume of physical activity.
2. Poor circulation: Impaired blood circulation reduces oxygen delivery to tissues, resulting in systemic hypoxia and generalized muscle aches.
3. Nutritional imbalance: Many individuals have highly selective eating habits, which frequently leads to inadequate or unbalanced nutrient intake. Deficiencies in certain essential nutrients can manifest as widespread muscle soreness.
