Introduction
Excessive physical exertion may lead to muscle stiffness, primarily due to lactic acid accumulation in the blood; the duration of this soreness is closely related to the intensity and volume of exercise. Poor blood circulation results in tissue hypoxia—insufficient oxygen supply to body tissues—which can cause generalized muscle aches. Deficiencies in essential nutrients may also manifest as widespread muscle pain.

Generalized body aches may stem from the following three causes:

1. Overexertion: Maintaining the same posture for prolonged periods during work—with minimal physical activity—can lead to muscle stiffness and soreness. Similarly, excessive exercise may also cause muscle soreness, primarily due to lactic acid accumulation in the blood. For example, after hiking or climbing mountains one day, individuals often experience generalized muscle soreness the following day. The duration of such soreness is closely related to the intensity and volume of physical activity.

2. Poor circulation: Impaired blood circulation reduces oxygen delivery to tissues, resulting in systemic hypoxia and generalized muscle aches.

3. Nutritional imbalance: Many individuals have highly selective eating habits, which often leads to inadequate or unbalanced nutrient intake. Deficiencies in certain essential nutrients can manifest as widespread muscle pain and discomfort.
