Introduction
To prevent Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) in children, the following measures may be adopted: - **Enhance immunity**: Encourage regular physical exercise to strengthen the child’s overall constitution and improve general health, thereby effectively reducing exposure to triggers of pediatric HSP. - **Avoid allergens**: Steer clear of substances that may provoke allergic reactions, such as certain medications or foods, detergents, paints, and dust mites commonly harbored in carpets; also minimize exposure to insecticides and other potential irritants.

Children’s bodies are still developing, making their skin more prone to allergic reactions—such as Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) in children. So, how can pediatric HSP be prevented? Specific preventive measures are outlined below:

① Enhance Immunity

Engage in regular physical exercise to strengthen overall physical fitness and boost immune function, thereby effectively reducing exposure to triggers of pediatric HSP. Vaccination should be avoided until the condition has fully resolved and recovery is complete.

② Maintain Good Hygiene

Pay close attention to personal hygiene—frequently wash hands, avoid consuming unwashed fruits and vegetables, and thoroughly cook vegetables before eating them. This helps prevent intestinal infections and parasitic infestations, both of which may trigger pediatric HSP.

③ Avoid Allergens

Minimize exposure to known allergens, including certain medications and foods, household cleaning agents, paints, dust mites commonly found in carpets, and insecticides—all of which may directly precipitate pediatric HSP.
