Dr. Liu Shilei
Coronary artery stenosis can, to a certain extent, lead to myocardial ischemia, manifesting as angina pectoris, discomfort or pain in the precordial region, and potentially progressing to severe myocardial infarction. If the patient’s physical condition permits, coronary angiography and stent implantation should be performed at a hospital when clinically indicated. Diet should be scientifically balanced and moderate—avoiding excess or extremes. Intake of high-cholesterol and high-fat foods should be restricted; a plant-based diet is recommended. Additionally, total caloric intake should be controlled to prevent excessive weight gain.
