How Can Children’s Myopia Gradually Improve Vision?
Disease description:
The child’s eyes have recently become slightly myopic—objects at a distance appear blurry. We would like to know how children’s myopia can be gradually reversed to restore vision.
When a child develops myopia and wishes to restore vision, the first step is to take the child to a hospital for evaluation to determine whether the condition is true (axial) myopia or pseudo-myopia. In cases of true myopia, vision restoration is generally not possible; correction can only be achieved through interventions such as wearing glasses. In contrast, pseudo-myopia may be reversible through healthy lifestyle habits—including proper eye use, avoiding eye strain, and ensuring adequate sleep.
