Early Symptoms of HIV in Women
Disease description:
One of my previous boyfriends was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, and I’m unsure whether I’ve been infected. Could you please tell me what symptoms women with HIV/AIDS may experience?
In the early stage of HIV infection, women typically do not exhibit obvious symptoms. However, a small number of patients may experience fever, rash, and lymphadenopathy. Others may develop sore throat, cough, unexplained weight loss, or diarrhea. These symptoms generally last about 1–2 weeks. It is recommended to undergo HIV screening at a hospital; if test results are positive, prompt medical treatment is essential.
