Clomiphene is an anti-estrogenic drug commonly used to treat various conditions, including anovulatory infertility in women, luteal phase deficiency, and male infertility due to oligospermia. It is also employed to assess ovarian function and to evaluate hypothalamic–gonadal axis dysfunction in men. Clomiphene is a prescription-only medication and must be used under the supervision of a physician. Adverse reactions may occur, such as abdominal pain and gastric discomfort.
