How to Treat Inner Calf Pain While Running
Disease description:
This morning, after my run, I experienced pain on the inner side of my calf. How should I treat inner-calf pain that occurs during running?
Pain on the inner side of the calf during running can be alleviated by applying heat or performing massage to improve blood circulation in the calf. If the pain is severe, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen, may be used for treatment. If the pain persists without improvement over an extended period, it is advisable to consult a physician and undergo a CT scan to identify the underlying cause, followed by targeted treatment.
