Differences Between Oral Herpes and Genital Herpes
Disease description:
Recently, I’ve noticed numerous small blisters appearing in my mouth, accompanied by pain. I suspect this may be due to oral herpes. What are the differences between oral herpes and genital herpes?
Differences between oral herpes and genital herpes:
Oral herpes is primarily a disease caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus (HSV), with lesions mainly occurring in the mouth and around the corners of the mouth. Genital herpes may be transmitted through sexual contact or result from HSV infection, and its lesions predominantly appear in the genital area.
