Testicular heaviness, distension, and pain are commonly caused by conditions such as orchitis or prostatitis. Such inflammation may be associated with improper diet and frequent sexual activity. Patients with these symptoms should undergo color Doppler ultrasound of the scrotum and testes to assess testicular blood flow signals. A marked increase in blood flow suggests a high likelihood of inflammation, whereas reduced blood flow warrants evaluation for testicular torsion. If orchitis or prostatitis is confirmed, prompt anti-inflammatory treatment is required.
