Donating bone marrow for transplantation generally does not cause significant harm to the body, but it is not entirely risk-free. If complications related to anesthesia occur during donation, unexpected outcomes may arise. If the operating room fails to meet sterilization standards during the bone marrow collection procedure, the donor may easily develop local inflammation. Additionally, if tissue damage occurs during the procedure, it could result in delayed healing of the donor's bone within a short period.
