The pharmacological effects of estrogenic drugs include promoting the development of female organs such as uterine growth and mammary duct proliferation, facilitating their maturation. They also promote ovulation and transform the endometrium into the secretory phase, thereby establishing the menstrual cycle. Additionally, via the hypothalamic-pituitary system, these drugs suppress the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, inhibit ovulation, and reduce prolactin's stimulatory effect on the breast, thus suppressing lactation. It is recommended to maintain adequate sleep and follow a light diet during treatment.
