Phimosis in children is quite common clinically. If there are no obvious discomfort symptoms, special treatment is not required. It is important to maintain local cleanliness and hygiene—wash daily with warm water, bathe regularly, change underwear frequently, and prevent children from scratching or rubbing the area. In cases where phimosis leads to recurrent inflammation, if symptoms such as local redness, swelling, pain, difficulty urinating, or painful urination occur, treatment with anti-inflammatory and analgesic ointments or oral antibiotics may be administered under a doctor's guidance. When necessary, circumcision may also be considered.
