Some cases of cervical spondylosis are very suitable for cervical traction therapy, while others are not. Cervical spondylosis is classified into four types, each requiring different treatment approaches, and not all types are appropriate for cervical traction. The four types are myelopathic cervical spondylosis, radicular cervical spondylosis, sympathetic cervical spondylosis, and vertebral artery cervical spondylosis. Among these, myelopathic cervical spondylosis is unsuitable for cervical traction therapy, as traction may even worsen the condition.
