How to examine the cervical canal
Disease description:
My friend was recently diagnosed with cervical lesions, so I'd like to get a cervical screening as well. Could you please tell me how the cervix is examined?
The cervical canal can be examined through ultrasound, routine gynecological examination, cervical biopsy, and other tests. Checking the cervical canal helps in the timely detection, prevention, and treatment of cervical abnormalities such as cervical erosion and cervical polyps. When necessary, patients may also need additional examinations such as pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or pelvic computed tomography (CT). Through standardized evaluations, any abnormalities should be promptly addressed with appropriate treatment measures if detected.
