Silicone breast augmentation has both advantages and disadvantages. The texture of silicone is similar to that of human breast tissue, allowing individuals to choose suitable implants based on their own conditions. Additionally, the implants can be completely removed if no longer desired. However, a disadvantage is that silicone degrades over time and may become prone to capsular contracture and hardening. If not removed in time, leakage or rupture may occur, leading to skin redness and swelling; in severe cases, it could even cause liver damage.
